The Congress' social media campaign ''Jai ho'', taken through digital medium to cover various groups, has received phenomenal response, claims Ignitee India Pvt Ltd.

Ignitee, a leading digital marketing company, which had previously supported the Congress to connect with every household in Rajasthan and Delhi in the November 2008, had once again reiterated their commitment to the party through their ''Jai Ho'' Social Media Campaign. Ignitee, in a release here, said it decided to leverage Social Media properties such as YouTube. Ignite then strategically went about using various social networks such as Orkut, Facebook and Rediff iShare to drive traffic to their main ''Jai Ho'' video on You Tube. This dynamic approach was taken with the objective to build a foundation for the Congress amongst the youth segment, who are the future of 'Modern India'.

The video has received a phenomenal response, with more than 28,000 views and the video has top the charts on You Tube, the release said. Besides being Most Viewed Video, the campaign was also recognised for Most Discussed Video, Top Rated Video, Most Popular Video and Top Most Favoured Video. Commenting on the initiative undertaken by the company, Ignitee Digital Solutions Pvt Ltd chief executive officer Atul Hegde said ''Our focus was to launch the Congress digital campaign in the social media space. The idea being to build a good platform by aggregating user engagement before we spread out to all the different genres on the web''.
